This is officially a real thing. The second episode of the Quantum Business Book Club. This time we are talking about Charlie Eisenstein's Sacred Economics. This one is almost a complete 180 from last time when we talked about Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.
Written 12 years ago, this book applies a fresh perspective to economics and tackles the real world issues we are facing in our growth economy. Eisenstein challenges us to switch the metric of success from how much money we can earn and hoard, to how much we can give. This "Gift Economy" focuses on sustainability and local community rather than the globalization we have become all too familiar with.
